New to chinchillas

I am new to owning chinchillas but in the past have had a ferret, hedgehog, and even raccoons. I currently have birds, reptiles, amphibians, dogs and cats. I just got a standard grey male from a co-worker who had some babies to sell. This baby is adorable, very friendly and active and I am learning all I can so I can enjoy this furry critter to the fullest. I would be interested in talking to anyone individually if anyone is interested in a "pen pal". I am looking forward to learning from you and with you all. I am glad to be part of your group.
