If anyone has a Jysk furniture store then that would be the place to go right now. They have big fleece blankets for only $3.88 (I think they're called New York fleece) and they would be great for your hogs. We picked up 4 today and the hogs seem to like them. :)

Yep!
Hopefully all the Jysk stores are carrying the same stock and having the same sale. Even if the blankets aren't on sale the original price was only $9.99 each and it's a pretty good sized blanket. We got the same amount of fleece from Fabric Land before we knew about the sale and it cost about $14.
Sorry you don't have a Jysk emiigirl13. :( Our town has loads of furniture/home decor stores. It's crazy. In that one mall alone we have Jysk, Laz-Z Boy, and Urban Barn, and it's not even a big mall! :S

Be careful buying cheap fleece. I've bought cheap throws to cut up and had to throw them out. Some of the cheaper fleece is like a hair and thread magnet and collects every bit of lint, fuzz, and hair there is. Not good having a hair collector around hedgehogs. The better quality fleece doesn't do that.
I used to use Walmart throws for liners for my gang and they were wonderful but about 6 months ago they must have changed manufacturers as the throws they have now are horrid once washed and dried.

I hope the fleece is ok. If not we have the good stuff from Fabric Land and I can use the fleece blankets for myself! :)

Thanks for the tip... I went and picked up a few blankets. Even if it turns out to be poor quality fleece, I figure I could use it for a "mattress" underneath some better quality stuff. Should I cut off the fringe?

I think the fringe is ok. The pieces are pretty wide and I don't think it could do any damage. I just tuck the edges under anyways so it looks neater. Not that Luna will let her cage stay neat for long.
What colours did you find? Our store had only white left and one light pink one.
