So I took Honey out for some exploring time tonight and noticed a tiny bit of dried blood behind her ear. She's not bleeding at the moment.
When I took her on Sunday, Nancy told me she was suffering from extremely dry skin and her nails needed to be cut - the Aveeno bath was planned for tomorrow night anyway and POSSIBLY attacking the nails - and while I suspect it's just a matter of her scratching continuously at the same place, I'm concerned. It's the "new mom" thing.
I've skimmed the Health/Hygiene section and I've found a lot on bleeding feet/nails, but nothing on this. My thought for the moment is to gently swab with a wet q-tip, but I'd love some suggestions from those more knowledgeable than I.
