I just got a call from a lady in Louisville KY who has a sister that has 10 standard chins that need a new home. They are all standard chins and 7 of which are under a year old. She has the parents on all. She'd like them to all go to one place, as a rescue situation, NO BREEDING! Please make offer on all.....every little bit will help her due to medical reasons. Please contact the lady that contacted me at animals_r_us2002@yahoo.com (this is the sister to the lady that actually has the chins) for further information.

I don't even know if she would be interested in transporting, but it looks like Michelle (heymom32000) is going to be driving from Nashville up into Indiana to pick up a chin there...I read a post she made about it. I'm gonna forward this to her and see if she would possibly be interested in transporting these chins if anyone up this way can take them in.

If I can find somebody to bring the little girl I'm wanting to IN from WI then I will be going on a road trip up to IN to get her. If I can't find a way to get her to IN then I won't be traveling up there. I will be traveling down to FL Oct 13th with a stop in Tifton, GA. So if somebody down south is wanting these guys I can transport them from Nashville but you would have to meet me along my route. Going to Port Canaveral and must be on the ship by noon.

I am not personally interested in the information...I was just passing on the information as I knew that the lady needed help relocating these chins. Just trying to help. But if indeed she's wanting that much for them, she'll have a hard time placing all 10 in the same rescue situation.

That lady called me today about an ad I had in Hoobly about wanting a chin (the ad was from LAST October, so not recent)....from what she said when I called her back, she was willing to split them up. The only reason she wanted money for them was because she wanted to be sure they were going into a good home and her sister needed the money for the medical bills. I think she was ok with the 10 not all going to the same home, though. I told her I might come look at them, Jinx (mom's chin) could use a female companion, but you guys are right, at that price she's not going to be able to get them all in the same rescue.

I am a rescue in Louisville, KY so I am not interested in purchasing the chins from her but if she needs them out of there quickly or something (I can't tell what the situation is) I would be happy to keep them temporarily for you guys until you guys work out the transport. You can contact me here, or email me. Amy

I have been looking into getting a chin for a while and reading about them and all that. I had no idea sites like this and rescues existed I was just going to go buy one from a pet store I am sure glad I didn't there are so many little guys that need good homes. I read a post early about kids going to school and getting rid of their chins and stuff like that. It is so sad they are truely little fur people and deserve better! I am so glad I found this site!
