I am just so fustrated with the entire situation.
This is my long story made short.
I purchased a chinchilla from a breeder, who promised to get that chin to another breeder, who was shipping one of her chins to me and she was going to ship both chins together. The lst breeder didn't ship at all. So all was agreed upon, and I sent a postal money order for the lst chin. Everything was set.......
The lst breeder NEVER after several attempts never did get the chin down to the 2nd breeder who after months of waiting finally had to ship my 2nd chin by itself to me.
Well, all this was back in March 2006, the lst breeder who never got my chin to me, emailed me saying how sorry she was and would most definately return my money.
I have reminded her many times now, that it is totally unfair for her to have my money and my chin and it was all because she didn't get the chin to the 2nd breeder who DID ship chins. She didn't keep up her end of the deal, and now I LOST.
I WILL GIVE HER TO THE END OF SEPTEMBER 2006, TO RETURN MY MONEY, IF SHE DOESN'T I WOULD BE HAPPY TO EXPOSE HER FOR WHAT SHE DID. (VIA PM, OF COARSE)
I have all emails and plenty of proof of her wrong doings, so I sure hope she comes clean and sends me my money back, if not I WILL tell anyone who wants to know her name......BYW, the amount is $250.00 so it's not just pocket change that I am angry about.......
Oh well, I vented.

Wow... the breeder must have spent the money.. and now doesn't have it to pay you back... That is so unfair.. I tried to pay for my second chin I bought from a breeder before I got her.. and she wouldn't allow it.. She said in case something went wrong she didn't want to have to worry about getting my money back to me.. I greatly appreciated that.... I am so sorry you are out BOTH the money AND the chin....$250 is nothing to sneeze at.

How awful! I can't imagine keeping the money and never giving the person the chin they paid for. Sure hope you get this all worked out. How frustrating for you!

It's awful this is still a problem Cindy. :( I hope they give you your money back soon. Perhaps they could do a payment plan option? I did this with one breeder who owed me money and never sent me my chins I paid for. She spent the money and then didn't have it to give me, so she paid $50 a month until paid in full.

However, with you having waited so many months...I just don't know. Very sorry you have to deal with this though.
