Hello! I'm Cait, and I'm new to chinchillas and hedgies alike. My motivation for joining is that my friend bought a female hedgehog a few days ago (about Thursday, I do believe) and he doesn't have a pc, so I offered to join a forum and get help if needed and just share about his girlie. I'm part of a few other forums and was directed here. :)
I myself have rabbits, mice, and hamsters. I do plan on buying a pair of chins from a local breeder here in the near-ish future. So there's added incentive to join! I'm pretty familiar with their basic care, but I do need more research!
Now, about the hedgehog who was the original reason for joining. She looks youngish, and was supposed to be a boy. After actually looking, he turned out to be a she! :P Her name is Sonic (wow really creative) although it may change. She is very cute and goofy. I'll introduce her in her own thread, once I have pictures.
I hope to get to know all of you better!
