So I recently discovered "God's Gift to the Grill". Brian's mom gave me a box of the wrenolds foil bags you can use on the grill. LOVE them. I recently tried a recipe they give you in the box and really liked it. I thought it would be extememly weird, but I was in the mood for something new. Turns out it was great and I highly reccomend it and it's super easy!

1 foil bag

1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 ears corn on the cob broken in to halves (4 pieces total)

1 packet taco seasoning

Put the chicken and corn in the bag. Sprinkle on 2 tbs vegetable oil. Then sprinkle taco seasoning packet on top. Seal up bag and cook for about half an hour. Open the bag a crack after half an hour to ensure that chicken is done.

I like to serve this with a seperate bag of diced potatoes and lipton soup mix. I make that in another bag right on the same grill. Turns out to be a pretty great dinner.

What are your favorite grilling recipes?

My newest favorite thing to grill is fruit! Half a peach, remove the pit and sprinkle some sugar on the fleshy side and grill a couple of minutes...to die for with some vanilla ice cream!

Fruit, that is an interesting idea. I'm not generally a big fruit fan, but I would be willing to try it.

Sounds yummy! I'll have to look for that book the next time I'm out, or I'll probably check amazon. That campbell's cookbook you recommended is awesome! I think I liked everything that I've tried in it. And now that my backyard's pretty much complete, it's about time I put the grill to use! I'll have to try this, it sounds simple enough. =)

BBQ season is almost over. Anyone have any end of the year recipes they like?

I like a nice pork loin, studded with garlic, and rubbed with creole seasoning, and yellow mustard... just slow grill over indirect heat.

LOVE pork loin! We get the pre marinated pepper corn kind most of the time. It's SO yummy!

I've never grilled a pork loin. How long does it need to cook and at what temp?

when I grill it, I go over a medium fire, for about three hours, or so.... you want to cook it low, and slow... I use a whole pork loin roast, that they sometimes sell in two pieces... good with rice, or cole slaw. I got the recipe when I was living in Southern Louisianna.
