From SD Looking for MN hedgehog

Hello,

I'm from Brookings SD and I'm currently looking for a baby pet hedgehog. I've had a hard time locating any breeders in SD, and I am willing to travel to MN to find one, are there any breeders in MN that will have an available litter in the coming months.

PS-Actually about any place 5-6 hrs from Brookings I'd be willing to travel to, so that leave Nebraska and Iowa as well.

I'm sure there are breeders in MN, but a good friend of mine is in Gillette, WY and she'll be coming here to SD for my house warming party at the end of October. You could check with her and see what she has available.

I'm not sure about the breeders in MN but to ditto what tunes said the breeder from WY is very experienced.

Well I am getting an one from a lady in wisconsin she is driving to the mall of America this saturday the 23rd and she has one albino male left? just a thought she would need to know by wednesday I am sure you can see her posting in the for sale section

That sounds like a great offer, but I am looking for a darker colored hedgehog (it's my first, so a more traditional color is what I had in mind). But meeting someone at the Mall of America is a good idea.

I have a chocolate chip and an albino. My albino male is the sweetest little thing and they are cuter than you think.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make it sound like I didn't like albinos or something. It's just that what I'm looking for now, would probably be a more traditional colored hedgehog.

I emailed tunes' friend, the WY breeder, but I havne't gotten a reply yet. Does she have an account on this forum that I could send a PM to?

Yes, she does have an account here, but just give her a day or so and she'll get back with you. She just adopted a new baby! :) I imagine life there is pretty hectic right now. I will send her an email as well and let her know that you're trying to reach her.
