Why can't I post in the classifieds? I can post everywhere else but in the classifieds :dunno:

Every new member should be reading the FAQ's. It explains things like why you can't post to the classifieds.

Chins-n-Quills is an information sharing site first and foremost. We are committed to having our members share what they know with one another.
In the past, we have had many people that seem to join here to sell their supplies and animals to our members and not post their knowledge here for us to share. We will not allow this to continue. Members are now required to post 50 contributing posts before being allowed to post for sale ads in the classified section on CnQ. By contributing, we mean posts that give insight to other members. Posts such as "How cute," "Welcome to the forum," and the like will not be considered as contributing posts and will be deleted and such will not count towards the required 50 posts.

We need to make sure you understand that once you gain access to the classified section to post your things for sale, you still have the obligation to post contributing material too. If once you reach 50 posts, you do nothing but post for sale ads, they will be deleted and you will be warned about this. If your behavior continues, your membership may be discontinued.

Posts like 'aww he'es cute' or 'congratulations' do not count. Nor do posting 50 posts over a couple of days as being able to post to the classifieds is the obvious intent. :)
