My name is Rebecca and I'm the proud new "Mom" of a two little girls. My beige is named Ally and she is a spirited little thing - she runs and popcorns and makes a bit of a mess. My favorite thing about her so far is the way she banks off the sides of the cages when jumping up to the next level of her cage or when she runs around it. My other chin is a beautiful ebony named Bella, she has a very sweet and somewhat timid nature. She is very very intelligent and loves to watch everything around her.
I've only had them for a bit less then a week but I already love them to bits. I did recently scare Bella by accident, I was vacuming near their cage - (carefully keeping an eye on them to make sure they weren't scared) when I accidently tripped and bumped the cage. Ally was fine with it, she popped right out of hiding and is her normal (so far) cautious self but Bella was really scared. She hid all day and was making the alarm/social call. I've been feeling really really guilty.
Bella has started to forgive me (I think) but she is very very cautious. Before this she would climp up my arm, now she is staying away from me and keeping a cautious eye on me. I'll give her all the space she needs and I know it will take time to regain her trust but I'm feeling a bit worried.
If anyone has any advice on the best way to get back this cautious little chin's trust I'd love to hear it!
