Hi guys,
I used to post on this forum several years ago but since then I haven't been as active. Anyway, I still have five chinchillas and I used to spend a lot of time on my chinchilla website, even though I never actually sold any chinchillas to people. I thought that I'd eventually get a bunch more chinchillas and start doing that.
But that's not really what I want anymore, and even though I recognize that, I still have the chinchillas I have.
And, which I never really stated explicitly in any of my postings on here but which some of you may have speculated on and guessed, I'm actually a senior in high school right now and it's clear that I'm not going to be able to keep the chinchillas past next June.
As for why I never mentioned this before, I'm not really sure. True, I never claimed to be a different age than I was; I just never specified it.
I'm going to be honest here, I have a lot of other priorities in life right now besides taking care of chinchillas, and I shouldn't feel guilty about realizing that it might be time to find them a better home.
What I want to know:
I remember when I used to post here, there were some newer, inexperienced people who, well, posted a lot of questions and got into a lot of conflicts with other members who believed they were inexperienced and were harming their animals. I want to avoid selling to an unsavory buyer. I'm not trying to create any sort of conflict with this request, but basically, if any of the more knowledgable members who have been here awhile could private message me and just let me know what's going on around here right now, that would help me a lot. If I end up doing this, I don't want to inadvertantly sell to someone who's, shall I say, infamous around here.
