Does everyone on this site own a pigmy hedgehog? I rescued a European hedgehog who was an autumn orphan, and you can't find decent information on how to care for them! This forum needs that....

Some people have chinchillas :p Well, European hedgies aren't really considered pets, so few will have one that they haven't introduced to the wild or something... And I think a ton of people here are from U.S. and Canada, where there are no (or few, those that are are in zoos) euro hedgies... but even though it's mainly about pygmies, I'd suppose it's better information than someone telling you how a skunk should be raised... I dunno, if there were a section specifically for rescued hogs I don't think many people would post there or they'd all be about pygmy hogs rescued from bad pet situations.

I would search for some Europeon forums and rescues that would be more geared towards Europeon wild hedgehogs. Most of the people here live in Canada & the US with a few from Europe but this is a pet oriented forum and most of us wouldn't be much help with wild hedgehogs. :)

Check some UK sites.
My family lives there and they are wild in their backyards (sooo jealous!).
Anyways, I've heard stories about ppl taking care of them and helping them get ready for winter (they actually hibernate).
I'll try and find a good website for you.
