There are 4 chins looking to be rehomed immediately as the owners are moving in 3 weeks. Below is the contact information for the owner and some info on the chins currently needing homes. All come with their own large cage, and from what I gather from email, the males are not neutered and no one is bonded.

Willow - male - beige - born December 24, 2000
Savanna - male - grey - born November 9, 2001
Jasmine - female - grey - born June 26, 2002
Dusty - male - mosaic - born April 26, 2002

Please contact the owner Cindy at lilacsr4c@comcast.net if interested.

Many thanks in advance!

Melissa :)

Hi Carise!

Thanks for offering :)

Cindy is willing to drive. I'm not sure how far you are from Pittsburgh, PA, but you can email her or give her a call. 412-492-2281. I talked with her over the weekend, and she doesn't check email that often she said, so I got consent to pass along her phone number.

For anyone else interested as well, you can contact the owner, Cindy, via phone as well 412-492-2281.

Thanks!!!

I can help transport!! If Carise is going to Mansfield, I can foster them here for a week or so and then bring them up there with me. I'm only an hour from pittsburgh, so I think I'm probably the closest.

Feel free to contact Cindy the owner directly via email or phone :)

Thanks guys for all your help. If all else fell through, I was going to get them, but wanted to canvas C&Q and the surrounding areas first....just makes sense.

Melissa :)

I just got off the phone with Cindy, and she said that she had a few other offers along with mine. I also got a little more background as well:

All of the chins have their own cages; Dusty and Savanna (both males) have playtime together, and Willow and Jasmine have playtime together (male and female). They each get a piece of dried fruit at night when they are fed, and 1-2x a day they get a peanut or sunflower seed, and they also mix sunflower seeds in with the chins' pellets. 3 of the chin cages are collapsible, and one is metal and not collapsible. Dusty broke one of his legs about 2 years ago, but it has healed well, and he is also blind in his left eye due to some sort of hemorrhage which left his eye yellow, so he will need a permanent cage setup without too many changes. The family is moving around the 3rd or 4th week of October, and I told them that I could probably pick them up next week sometime. Cindy works in Washington, PA, and said that we could meet there so I can pick up the chins.

That's all I know for now...she's very nice, and it sounds like the chins are well-loved and very well taken care of, so I'm not sure how much rehabilitation, if any, they will need, but I'll post an update after I speak with her again!
