Buddies?

I know what the administrator, moderator and member is, but what is a 'buddie'? I was just looking at the people on the forums right now and one was designated as 'buddie' by the color and font of the name. Can anyone clarify this for me, that is if you can make sense of what I just wrote. Thanks.

Chinchilla & Hedgehog Buddies

Buddies are people who have proven to be very helpful and knowledgable. There are many members on these forums who are very knowlegable and helpful, but it can be hard for a new member to figure out who to ask questions. New members can also be very shy and may not want to ask there question in public. The buddies are there to help those members and give them someone to ask.
