Could be quilling. Some of them quill again when they hit 1 year I've heard.

Yeah, I've heard they hit a second quilling at 1 year.

Are there any bare or irritated spots? How many quills are you finding? 10? 15? 50? 100?
It could also be a dormant case of mites

There was about 20 quills yesterday when I cleand her cage, and she does not have any bare spots. And im pretty sure she does not have mites, all her quills have that little ball on the end. so maybe she is quilling.

The little balls on the end of the quills means nothing.
At a year old there is a good possibility of it being quilling but if you are using any bedding other than liners there is a possibility of mites. :)

sometimes if you look really close you will be able to see if it has mites, and putting the hedgie on a black piece of fabric will usually help also. typically they are little white specs if you see them moving its probally mites, but if you want to be positive that it dont have mites you would have to treat it or bring it to the vet and have a skin scraping.
