Thanks Kate! I was just worried about what ppl would say since I havent even had them a year yet... that and it is very hard for me to have to do this even though it'll be better for them and myself-- I love these hogs dearly and hate to see them go-- I will definetly miss them very much! but I know its what is best-- On a more positive note Nancy Pm'd me about rehoming them-- she warned me to be very careful who I rehome them with because there are a few ppl around trying to set up a hedgehog Mill like situation-- I was going to be very careful who I rehomed to anyhow-- but this is an extra heads up! That and she might be interested herself in helping me out! Thanks Nancy!

Deb-- Great pics-- I love his smile-- he is sure gonna be a heart breaker when he is older ;) all the girls will want him!

Thanks! :)
Sorry, I did not touch on what you are going through. I agree with Kate as well. You need to think of what is best for you AND your animals. I personally think that you are doing a good thing. Most people would not think of that and then if something DID happen to the animals during this type of situation, the animal would be the one to suffer. I would not care what anyone would say or think! You are doing what is best for the situation right now! I do not see how anyone would look at that in a bad way though...

Lori- Looks to me like you have two beautiful & talented little girls!!!! I love the hedgie sculpture!!! VERY cute!

Thanks! They grow up so fast!

We sent Meghan to an art camp at a local art museum for a week-just a day camp. She loves doing art! They were doing sculptures all week working with different mediums-clay, paper mache (sp?), recyclables, etc. At the end of the week they had a reception and all parents could see all the students' works of art, so I had no idea what she was making. I did think it strange though that her art teachers asked that I bring in Lucy to show. :) I found out at the end of the week at the reception when I saw that ALL of Meghan's sculptures were of hedgehogs, why her teachers wanted to see a real, live hedgehog!

Lori, your girls are both beautiful! Seeing pictures like yours reminds me of how much I can't wait to have a little girl of my own.

Dondeb, I can't get over how long Devin is! I was telling Kate I'm so used to my little chunky monkey, haha. Between his long legs and full head of hair he looks more like a toddler than a 7 month old! How big is he these days?

I have not weighed him, but he is nearly 29 inches now. He is very long and thin which makes him look even longer cause he does not have the baby rolls. We took him to lunvh the other day and the waitress was telling us how he looks like he should be up and running since he is so tall! hehehe
