Very pretty sky line Meredith. Jake is finally starting to get hair!!! I have trimmed Kaid's a few times.. he starts looking like a little duck. lol
How much does he weigh now? Kaiden is a little on the small side, but considering chris & i the doc isnt too worried about it.

He's been quite the picky little eater lately. Feeding time has gotten a touch more interesting. I think its his teeth or so i hope. Hoping for a phase. =]

So any words yet? Kaid is talking up a storm.. its kinda weird. haha

Hat, hot, mama, dada, cracker, cookie(of course), kitty, sock, dog, duck, book, banana(or nana), drink, there are others.. Hes got quite the vocab so far. He loves books, which is great.

I was so proud, he can find his nose & ears now too!!!!! I have been working on those a while. Im SOOOOOOOO proud. haha

I have been slacking on adding photos, i was about to the other day & then of course something came up. After the wedding is behind me, i will have the time to post again..

I totally love the pix hes getting way too big! Its so crazy hes already walking. Doesnt seem like hes old enough to be doing that stuff yet. haha. I think of him as the baby of the group. hehe <3

He & Kaid totally have the same cool camo hats! I saw that & was like kaiden HAS to have that for the beach!!!! Camo baby for daddy!

LOL oh yeah, just wait until hes a dare devil. Kaid doesnt just push or ride his car like that amymore.. he thinks is fun to stand on.. Talk about extreme baby sports..Hes a climber which is a bad thing.. He can do stairs like its nothing now. Crazy how he was so wabbly a few months ago & now hes ALL over!

Kate - he actually isn't walking yet, only with assistance like with his car. I did the border on my photo prog that came w/my computer, Microsoft PictureIt Premium... Its just called edge fade or border fade, and you just adjust how much you want... :)

Grant is small too... he just had his 9 mo appt yesterday, and he was 17lbs 6oz, & 25.5 in long. He's only in like the 5th percentile. But doc says he's AOK & 100% healthy. I'm 5'7 & Mike is 5'9 but there are a lot of SHORT ppl in his family.

Oh and that camo hat... also the polo shirt he's wearing in the webcam shot came from Old Navy, man I just LOVE their boys clothes they are just soooooo cute!! We also got him 2 ball hats the last time we were there, one is gray and says 68 or something on it, and the other is black and says Mom Rules!!

Thanks for all the comments, guys. Grant is getting so big, JoAnn! It won't be long before he's turning the big ONE. Crazy. I have no clue where this year has gone.

At Jake's 12 month appointment he weighed 25lbs 8oz, which according to his chart puts him in the 82nd percentile. And he is 31.5 inches long which puts him in the 92nd percentile. Pretty much all of the men on both sides of our families are fairly tall. Nobody is under 5'10" and Ben is 6'1" himself.

Jake has a pretty good appetite, for the most part. There are few things he doesn't like. Our only battles stem from how much control he has when he eats. If he doesn't have a utensil in his hand too there's no way he'll let me feed him. And he's all about foods he can pick up and eat without my help. I'm already being weeded out from the operation, lol.

It sounds like Kaiden has quite the vocabulary! We're just at "Mama" and "Dada" for now. We think Jake wants to say "kitty" so badly because he makes the "ta" sound all the time when he's fooling around with the cat. But who knows, we'll see.

Now that it's warm out he's all about being outside. We go for walks at least two or three times a day. It's great because he has so much fun and it tires him out at the same time: he still takes 3 hours worth of naps every day! Our apartment complex has sidewalk going all through it and there's yards bordering the whole place so we have plenty of room to walk and kick the soccer ball around. The only problem is he doesn't like to have his hand held or go where we want him to, hahaha. Stubborn little boy.
