Luna did something funny when I went to clean her cage this morning! I took out everything in the cage to wipe it off (and change her fleece) so I set her on the floor beside me. She wasn't too impressed and went puttering around looking for something to burrow under. When I put everything back in her cage I had to re-arrange her fleece so she could hide in it and I guess she got impatient with me and got up on her wheel and started running. It was the funniest thing ever since she never runs during the day or if she so much as hears someone near by and I was sitting right next to her cage and she was going.

When I first got a hedgie bag for Spiny, he was so freaked out by the new blankie/liner, that he started to wheel during the day. (and he's like Luna).

It's funny how they do that, eh?

Herbie and Kahlua will do that after I do a complete overhaul on their cages and clean everything out and replace litter, blankies, etc. It's like they are PO'd at me or something...I get the evil hedgie look of death and off they start running on their wheels. It's hilarious

Hahah it's so cute and yes, definetly funny since she will run off her wheel and into her hide out if I catch her in the middle of the night or if she just hears me in another room. I guess it's their way of letting off their anger. :p

Lol...Scoops did that a couple times and it is so funny! He would ony do it when I had everything else out of his cage...I guess he got bored easily!

Hehehe silly hogs!

And what's really funny was when she had to pee and poop she just stopped and hung her butt over the edge into her box. I was so surprised! Such a smart girl. :D

Herbie does this on cage cleaning day. He runs up and down and all around and then gets on the wheel and run like heck. It's like he is saying, "Hey! Somebody messed up my house and I am really angry!"

Awww, I love it when they throw little tantrums about such silly little things. Isis just recently got over a week long tantrum about having her slipper taken away (it was made out of stupid material) and she's even still a bit cranky to this day hehe!
