Hi, Everyone!
My boyfriend and I are the proud owners of two chinchillas (Ellie and Emerson)! Luckily, he stumbled across this forum and we've already learned a ton from sifting through the posts.
I acquired the chins in a weird way. My friend randomly called me as asked if I was interested in buyin them from her mother's friend's neighbor. I said yes (of course) and wound up paying $80 for two violet chins and two BEAUTIFUL cages that are worth over $100 a piece. What a deal, eh?
Anyway, due to the face that the neighbor was in some sort of trouble with the law, they had to unload most of their things quickly. I didn't get to talk to them personally about the chins, but I was told that they're about 4 years old. Also, that Ellie is "probably" pregnant since the two had been living together.
The two of us are going to be sharing this username. I know he already has a few questions for everyone, but I just wanted to say hello to you all. :laugh:
