We had to put our 10 year old cat down today. He wasnt always the sweetest cat ever, but he definatly had his cute and cuddely moments. He was such a good cat. I remember when we used to be reading he would lay on top of the newspaper. He was funny and liked to do all the quirky things cats do. I wish he didnt have to go. Especially only about a week after our hamster, April, passed.
He started peeing all over and so we brought him to the vet to get checked. They said that he had crystals or something in his bladder and so we switched diets. It didnt help with his peeing at all. We tried everything and didnt know what to do anymore. He had also started to lose weight dramatically. My soccer coach said that maybe it was cancer because one of the signs is weight loss. We just doint know though.
So today we decided it was best to just let him go. I got out from soccer early and we brought him to the vet. I was there when they injected him... Before he was fully asleep (before they injected him with the leathal injection, after the one to make him relax and sleep) He lay down and licked one of my tears. I feel so bad. I wish we didnt have to :( Im so sad right now guys.
