Hi my name is Tash I just saw my first chinchilla 2 weeks ago and had to have one. I'm from australia - we don't have them there, my research on raising chinchillas brought me here, and now after having my Ratty a week I'm told I may be kicked off the forum if I don't post enough so here's hopefully the first of three posts b4 October 14.

We also have a norwegian forest cat, I thought him suitable since we live in a scandinavian forest now :winkgrin:

Welcome to CnQ! I have family from Australia, and when they came to visit last year. It was their first time seeing or hearing about chins as well! Can't wait to see pictures of your lil guy. =)

It's just a shame with the laws regarding chinchilla's in Australia. At least you can share in all the great pictures here!

Hej, thanks for the welcome's - I have to get around to pictures I'm finding chins don't stand still long enough for me to get my camera though
