Yay!

I think we had a breakthrough tonight! I had Irwin out for some "cuddle time", even though in the past all he has done is try to run away from me. Tonight he grabbed his blankie, and made his way up on to my arm. He splatted out on my arm underneath his blankie! As if that wasn't cute enough, shortly afterwards I felt him wiggling around, and when I looked down, two ridiculous little pink legs and an adorable little pink tail were sticking out from underneath the blanket! :hearts: He stayed like that for quite a long time. When it was finally time to go back in his house, I picked him up expecting to be huffed at - and he didn't huff! That's the first time EVER that I've picked him up and not gotten a handful of quills and a bunch of attitude. Honest to God, I almost cried...

I almost cried the first time Spiny even made eye contact with me and then 'nosed' my arm... It's just that feeling of connection.

They sure make you earn it! My snow slept on the couch cuddled up to me through half of the Nascar race last night. Then he came out licked my nose and was ready to go back to the cage for a snack. It is so sweet when they have cuddly days. :hearts:
