Whats happening?

All of a sudden every time I open up a thread to read, it scrolls all the way to the last post... Its really annoying do you know how I can fix it?

Where are you "clicking" to view a thread? There's a way to click to see "last unread" and to go to "last post" as well as "start at the begining."

It depends on how you are getting to the thread if it's really a problem or not. If you're going directly to a thread from the home page, then it's supposed to take you to the very last post. If you're on the home page, and you click on a forum, then a thread, it's supposed to take you to the top of the thread, then you can click on the "View First Unread Post"

Otherwise, you may have your settings in your UserCP set to take you directly to the last post...you may want to check that.

i havent changed anything and it just started doing that the last couple days

its when i got to new posts uptop and then click on the thread i want to read......

OK, time to figure out EXACTLY where you are clicking.

Once the "NEW THREADS" list loads, are you clicking the first arrow before the name of th ethread, the name of the thread or the arrow next to the name of the person who posted LAST?

Hmmm... seems as though that happens to me.

When I click on the post (the name of the post) that is most recent on the main board, it lets me into the post, but bumps me down to the end of the post.
post post post... there's that word again!

ok i open up the forum and then i click on new posts on the top menu bar and when it brings me to all the new posts I click on the name of the post i want to read like when i clicked on this one i clicked on the words "Whats happening" and then when the thread opened it automatically scrolled down to Jeanettes posts that says

OK, here's the deal. When you click on the name of the post, it takes you to the most first reply you haven't seen. If there's only one reply, then that's the same as the end of the post.

So, instead of checking th ethreads every 10 minutes, maybe wait a few hours for possibly more replies to be entered. Then you will see the difference.
