Even though Irwin is not at his best healthwise right now, he's still full of that hedgie attitude! Every time I try to check his ears or his feet, or clean up his poop, or stick my hand in his enclosure for any reason, I get the hiss-huff-visor-pop combo. It's a good thing he doesn't know how adorable he is when he's being crabby, because it would totally undermine his self-confidence! That being said, he did let me scratch under his chin for a couple of seconds the other day before he remembered that he's not supposed to like me.

Hahaha cute! :p I love it when they forget to be mad for a second and let you touch them and then suddenly remember. Luna is famous for that. She even growled at me the other day.

I'm still waiting for Spike to get that forgetful... he's pretty diligent at the acting like he hates me part :)
