Hi All!
So I suppose I should have introduced myself before I started posting and asking you guys for favors, but I've just finally found time to explore this fun forum a bit more . (By the way, thanks so much to those of you who sent me your baby chinchilla weights, they are very helpful. I can always use more though, the bigger the sample the better!).
My name is Steph and I have two chinchillas (I know my profile says three; my little boy moved away - long story, but I'll fix it next time I remember). I live in Michigan but I go to a University in Canada, so I'm all over the place. I study Wild Life Biology, and I'm a wildlife rehabilitator, mainly for squirrels and cottontails, although I've dealt with all sorts of stuff from bats to a mink. I'm going to attempt to attach some pictures, so hold on to your hats! The first is Inca, the second is Maya, her daughter, and the third pic is not a chinchilla at all, it is the mink we had, now safely released back from whence it came. I just thought you'd like to see it :)
Anyway, hi! I'm sure I'll see you around the forum!
