Hey all, I am currently looking for a hedgie and have yet been unsuccessful in finding one in my area. I happen to be in an area where there seem to be none. I have been dying to get one now for a while and its all because of my friend and all the pics that she has and that seems to be a lot of what she talks about. Someone PLEASE HELP ME!!! By the way, I am in Sioux City.

There is a USDA licensed breeder in Cedar Rapids. If that is close enough to you let me know and I can send you his info.

Its a bit more of a drive for me, personally, because i still would have to drive almost all the way across iowa to get there. Its a good 4 to 5 hour drive to get to Cedar Rapids. My friend said there was a hedgie place in lincoln, neb. What do you know about that one? I think the name was Hedgehog Paradise. I cant seem to find a website for that one. Thats the one that my friend got Disco, her hedgie.
But like I said, I would do anything for a hedgie.

I've never heard of Hedgehog Paradise so I really can't weigh in either way on that one. If your friend got a hedgehog from there and seems happy then I would go that route.

Hello. I live in Burlington Iowa.. there is a hedgehog breeder here in Burlington, her name is Lisa Bolander.
Her number is 319-758-9828
I'm not sure if she is USDA licensed or whatnot, as I'm not very familiar with hedgehogs, i just thought i'd mention it if you were having trouble finding a breeder.
