Finally put some paint on the walls for the nursery.. Well my brother did.. so now we can order the furniture.. yippeee...
looks better in person than the picts.. and we are getting a new rug.. a medium grey that will pick up the color nicely..

wow my bedroom is that color exactly and I have grey carpeting I will assure you it will loook awesome I love my bedroom and I received alot of compliments on the color combination no one thought it was a good choice until they seen it then they love it

AWWWW very cute!!!!! I also LOVE your color choices.. like marynsn said, grey would look good with it.

When I mention the color purple people think the dark shade for some reason.. and look at me strange when I say grey rug.. I think the rug color will be good cause as she grows, probally what ever color she wants to paint the room the rug will match.. :hyper:
next week the border goes up.. that will make it look more cutier..

I think gray rug is also good. We know how messy kids are and grays and browns tend to not show as many stains and spots. Are you going solid gray are a mixture of gray tones? The mixure of the colors would for sure show less spots.

I'd go with a mixture of shades too. Little girls and lipstick and nailpolish ends up all over. My oldest had a gray blue solid colour rug and everything showed up on it. :laugh:

I love those shades of purple! I'm sure it won't be long before that room will be full of baby furniture and toys. =) How exciting.
