I'm reposting this because I'm still desperate and still seeking.:)

I'm looking for an black/white male kit - heavily marked with lots of black and gray.

Pedigree/genetics aren't that important to me since I don't breed, but coloring is. It can be an ebony/white or mosaic, if it has the appearance I am looking for, but I'm told that an eb/white would tend to hold it's markings more reliably than a mosiac, so that would be my first choice.

Please take a look at these links for examples of what I'm looking for:

I'm located in NY. If you have a young chin with lots of markings, please let me know, even if you're far away. I might be willing to use some frequent flier miles to pick up the right guy and fly him home with me.

I've been looking for a long time.... and I'm starting to wonder if my future little boy is really out there.

Please contact me with a pic if you think you've got the right one.

Thanks so much,
Debbie

I'd just like to say that, even heavily colored eb/white kits usually lighten up as they get older. Some lighten up drastically and there is no way to tell how much they will lighten or how much their color will change. But most kits do not stay that heavily colored as they get older. You will not be able to tell what your kit will look like when its older whatsoever.
just wanted to let you know!

was just going to post that.

if it is the look you are after, go with an older animal.

Yes - that's a really good point - I've already had that experience once with a dark tan mosaic who is now white, so I should have thought to address that...

OK - let me modify my first post to say that it does not have to be a kit; on the other hand, if you have a well-marked kit and you have reason to believe it will hold its markings (i.e. other offsping from the same parents have retained their markings), please let me know....although I realize there are no guarantees (but by the time they fade I will have already fallen in love with them so it won't matter, right? :-)

Thanks,
Debbie

Hi, as the owner of the 3rd kit whose pic you mentioned up there (!!), I thought I would comment and say that he is much lighter now! He still has those markings, but they are all a light gray now (close to the gray color on his shoulders). But, he is still adorable!

I just thought this was amusing that you chose Zek's baby photo

The kit holding it color really does depend on the chin and I have to agree there is a better chance of having a dark adult with a wht eb.. here is a pic of my wht eb girl and she got a little bit lighter as she has grown but now is getting dark again.. good luck
