A friend who knows I have a hedgehog alerted me to this post (http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/pet/247676071.html) on Craiglist in Boston. I can not have any more pets at this time, however I would be willing to help with transport if anyone is interested. If you go ahead and contact the owner yourself and take him, I would greatly appreciate you letting me know, so that I know he is taken care of. Thanks

Here is the text of the ad-
"I adopted a hedgehog about 6 months ago. However, I also have a dog and I dont pay nearly enough attention to the little guy as i should. I feel really badly keeping him here locked up without any attention. He is little care, he eats dry catfood. he is smaller than a guinea pig, and he is cute and friendly. hes an interesting pet, one some little kid would LOVE to receive this christmas. id give him away with his cage and all accessories. please email me if youre interested, i just want to find a good home for this little guy"

I contacted them ... as a friend of a friend was just mentioning to me the other day, that he and his wife were looking into possibly getting a hedgie.

If your friend doesn't take the hedgehog, LMK. I have some local friends in the area that do a lot of hedgehog rescue through me (and I also take hedgehogs in here until a home can be found).

This guy is listed on the rescue lists and they are working on it.

This thread is 2 years old. I am sure it has found a good home by now.
