St. Aug., FL Hedgehogs Need Help

I sent the following as an email to Katie (First Coast Hedgehogs) since I know she's in the area, but want to post the situation here, too, in case anyone else is in the area or knows of anyone who can help.

The following message was posted on the hedgehogwelfare and hedgehog_help groups at Yahoo:

My boyfriend and I where in a pet store today and saw a poor little
boy hedgie and what I think was his mother in horrible conditions.
There where bugs in the cage, were being fed vitacraft, and the cage
was very dirty. The little boy had some substance caked all over him
and I did not get to look at the other one because I could not get
ahold of what I think was the mom. If I would have had the money I
would have taken them, but I already have Nevaeh and Portia and don't
have anymore room right now since I live with my boyfriends parents.
If anyone can help the store is Pet World in Saint Augustine Florida

Neveah is actually a hedgehog I bred + sold. Hmmm. I do not believe in purchasing hedgehogs from pet stores no matter how poor the care they are receiving is as it only encourages the pet stores to restock. Perhaps I could go visit the pet store next week and take photos and call Animal Services for St. Augustine.
