Hedgehog for Adoption

Hi. I love my hedgehog Spunky, but this is the same story that I am sure you have heard thousands of times. College has started, and I am way to busy to play with him.

I love him... and I want to keep him. But I feel incredibly guilty. He barely ever has play time and I am hoping to find someone who can take better care of him.

So is there anyone in the Chicago IL area that would be willing to adopt my salt & pepper male 10 month old hedgie?
EDIT: He is very healthy and has never had any health problems or injuries. I just bought a new bag of food today, so that is taken care of.

I'm in the chicago area and while I would LOVE to own a hedgie someday, now is not the right time to be taking in more animals. If you find someone, and need help with a RR let me know. I'm in the quad cities area.

I'm in Chicago, and while I need to think this through a bit more, I'm probably willing to take him in. My only sticking point is that I'm heading to Las Vegas on the 9th, through the 12th - and while I have a hedgie sitter lined up for my Bramble, I can't really ask her to take a second at this point. Do you happen to have any pics of the little one? Not that that matters - I just like seeing hedgies :)

I've been playing with him, and I'm not sure if I have the heart to do it. We'll see. Don't lose touch with me, I might even have to get rid of him in a year or so. April, i will PM you some pictures.

I live south of Chicago about an hour. Kankakee area. I would be more than happy to open our home to your Spunky! Does he like to be held? Our critters get handled alot, we have a large family. Let me know if you need more info. about us.
