Cage Layouts

Just curious as to how often you all change your chinnie's cage layouts?

I am sure the more cages you have the less you change them about...I have one cage so the fact that I change the layout every week is understandable :lol:

Every couple of months because of the rescues coming out of quarantine or still in quarantine.

Every couple of months unless I get a cool new toy for the babies then I can't wait!

i didn't vote cause i wasn't sure what to put. i don't have a wire cage so flea's shelves are drilled in. pain in the butt to change around often. i do switch up her hanging chew toys often. or if i get something like a new bed then i have to do some adjusting.

I have changed my older girls' cages several times with minor changes (new tubes and shelves that needed a special place) but I have probably only completely rearranged their cage twice in the nearly two years that I have had them. My newest addition is on her third cage though so she has been rearranged a few times already. She is all set up now though and I don't foresee messing with her cage too much in the near future, she seems to love it the way it is :). New hanging toys and such I don't count as rearranging, they are changed and added often!

We usually change everything right around christmas time. And I usually add all of their new chew toys and special things I got them for christmas :)

Although in the last week I think I have rearranged the rescue cages almost every day. LOL. Trying to get them perfect before the chinnies get here tomorrow. LOL

Quite a few times in the beginning until things are 'right', then not much at all except for new toys or stuff.

I think I have the ''right'' setup then I feel like changing it all the end of the week again...Sometimes I can even go 2 weeks!! :lol:

I voted every few months because that's about how often I find something new and cool to get them, and then I have to move everything around to fit it in there! :lol:

Shelves themselves almost never get moved, though, because I'm afraid of missed jumps.

It is hard toc hange chilis layout right now because everything is stock ferret nation at the moment. I change lil things around ever month or so. Soon it will be easier as I am making wood shlves here very soon! :)
