Do your chinchillas know they're chinchillas?

I have 2 chinchillas, both boys. Sonny acts like a chinchilla, whereas Ozzy seems to deny entirely that he is a chinchilla. Ozzy gets very confused and irritated when you try to treat him like a chinchilla. (this may be because I treat my chins like children, which I think most of us do, but only 1 of my 2 boys has this type of personality)

I'm interested to know if anyone else has a chinchilla that doesn't quite know that he/she is a chinchilla?

My chinchillas think they are spoiled rotten kids who can never have enough apple sticks. :)
