So who's going? I have already booked a room at the The Hospitality Inn. :D I am sooo excited! I hope to buddy up with someone else while there as I won't recognize anyone for sure! I am also interested if anyone wants to share a room with a hedgehog mom if you don't already have one booked. :)

Here is more Show info:

Milwaukee Rendezvous Hedgehog Show
Show Information
October 10, 11, 12, 2008

In 2006 we charged $65.00 for a Rendezvous Pass (for humans), which included Friday night dinner, Sat. lunch and dinner, coffee/water at all times, 2 conformation shows, entrance to The Domes (where one of the conformation shows was held), 2 speakers, and a goodie pack.
I believe it was $3.00 per pog per event (i.e., your kid was in both conformation shows it was $6.00).

While the Committee (there's two of us that run this show) haven't nailed down all the details yet, I think you can probably expect a $10.00 price increase for a pass in 2008 - - making it $75.00. The pass will include; two dinners, one lunch, two conformation shows, speakers, vendors, auction items, and sports events. Remember, there's a continental breakfast included in the price of your room.

The rooms are queen sized and include: 2 queen beds, small refrigerator, microwave, iron/board, hairdryers, and high speed data port access. These rooms have a large bathroom and a second sink in the room itself. There is ample open floor space in these rooms. These rooms are in the new wing of the hotel. Price, including taxes, is $68.76 a night. Check-in is 3:00 PM. Check-out is Noon (and there is a secure place to store your things if need be). Many folks room shared at the 2006 show.

The Hospitality Inn is at 4400 S. 27th Street, Milwaukee WI 53221. There are two buildings - - a tower type (where the main desk is and where the continental breakfast is served) and a three-story building a couple of hundred feet away (which is where we'll be staying/playing). Our building is a three story affair, with an elevator. Our show will take place in the banquet facility in the basement of the building we sleep in. Our building also has a small pool (as does the tower building). There is small work out facility in the tower building. The hotel has a van shuttle for airport service (about a 10 minute ride) and is available to shuttle people to restaurants in the immediate area.

You can't book this online, but the toll free number is 800-825-8466. Tell them you're registering for the Hedgehog Show room block. I believe they will give that room rate for the dates of the 9th and 13th as well. All rooms need to be booked by September 10, 2008. We've 20 rooms blocked.

We'll be looking for show sponsors, vendors, and donated items (new items only) for our auction (we've not yet picked who'll receive the money we collect). Anyone have a speaker suggestion? Let me know.

Keep watching the Welfare and Help list for further information and registration information.

We look forward to seeing everyone here in Milwaukee on October 10th!!!!!

Should've known. Well, in that case, I'll probably just try to Priceline something in the area then.

Oh I really wish I could go. Not sure how I'm going to get there yet lol. I'd rather not drive all the way up and around (I'm heading from MI)... Anyone know if they ferry people across the lake that time of year reliably? :p
