My african hedgehog is dying - help now

I dont know what is wrong. 2 hours ago he was running around and now he is dying. I know that he is alive becouse he opens he`s mouth every 30second and when he do that, he has spasms. The vet dont know what to do, and tomorrow will be too late, i think.
He cant move or anythink, he is like a dead animal, except that he is still warm and that he opens hes mouth...

What should I do??? He is my first headgehog and he is just 8-9 weeks old.

This hedgie needs to be at the vet ASAP! Find an emergency clinic if your own vet will not see him instantly.
Can you clarify running around? Running around where?? Could he have gotten into a cleaning product?? Bite down on an electrical cord?? Do you have any animals like a cat or a dog that could have picked him up??
Where are you located?? Someone may be able to tell you where to find a hedgie savy vet. I hope it is not too late for this baby :(

He needs a vet NOW. There isn't anything you can do at home, and we cannot diagnose him over the internet.

Was he eating? Is he choking on a kibble? Can you see in his mouth?

Oh dear! I had something happen just like that when I was watching my bosses cat. Turned out the cat had a massive stroke. I think the only thing you can do is get him to a vet and hope (pray) for the best.
In the meantime, you can hold him and talk softly.

I live in small country in Europe, and the only good vet didn`t know what to do. Of course that I called him before I post here, but that was new for him!

No, he had freerooming but the room was almoast his, so there wasnt anythink what could be bad for him.

He died yesterday, 15 minuter after I posted here... He opened he`s eyes for the last time and look at us and then he died in my hands.:(:(:(:(:(
I am so sad...we were planing to buy him an albino girlfrend next week, but now this...

Should I take him to the vet now, that he will se why did he die?:(

O, and we dont have emergency clinics and ASAP here and and when I posted the time was 11pm...So there wasn`t anything I could do and thats why I was looking for an answer on internet.
