I think they all do. Well, I hope they all do.

I think that they do. I'm quite happy about it, too!:D

I personally feel they have souls & their own personalities, so i think they do. If not to the same heaven as us, then surely an exclusive animal heaven.
It would be troubling for me if i didnt think that my kitties, chillas, etc had an after life. Animals are all gods creations as well, therefore i feel he wouldnt just abandon then. BUT after all death is one of the greatest mysteries of all.

This is largely based on religious belief. I'm saying "other", just for lack of the proper answer in the poll. :)

Vincent: "This is largely based on religious belief."
Of course it is. Heaven is a religious concept.
How's this... "Provided you believe in heaven, do animals go there?"

I don't think that they go to heaven when they die. They do not have souls. But, I do think that since we will be perfectly content in heaven that God will provide us with animals if that's what makes us happy. So, my answer is 'kind of'.

I said "I don't know" because I think, if there is a heaven, then animals go there. I just don't know for sure if there is one. Or if it's like what we commonly think it is.
What I do know is I'd like to believe there is such a place -- where there's no pain or suffering; just happiness, warmth, and love. I'd like to believe that my g'piggs are there right now.

When I was 8 years old the pastor at my church told me that animals do not go to heaven and they do not have souls. That was the day I stopped believing in God. If there are no animals in heaven, I don't want to go there. I want to go where the animals go.

Keep in mind, this is not inviting debate, simply a statement of belief. The Hebrew word for soul is nephesh and it's used for both man and animal in a certain book. So yes, I think they do in some form and manner.
