Do you give your hedgie kisses?

Every night when I take Laika out of her cage, I give her a kiss on the nose. Strangely enough, she's come to anticipate it and even seems to enjoy it a little (wishful thinking on my part?)

So here's the question...am I really unusual in that I kiss my hedgehog, or are there others of you?

I give Satin hedgiekisses. Sometimes on her nose, sometimes on her quills depending on how adventurous she's being. Before she goes back to her house at night, I bring her over to her hedgiedaddy (unless he's the one who's been holding her) for a goodnight kiss.
She is a much loved, cuddled, and kissed hog :)

She gets kissed just about everyday - exceptions being I/we are sick or she's a very huffy gatling pooper. So I checked "Yes, every day" rather than just "sometimes."

give Scrat a kiss on his nose when i take him out of his cage and right before i put him back. he seems to like it as well.

I answered yes, but in honesty it does depend on the hog :teehee:. Cotton was my first, and is very calm so I can give her kisses no problem. Noodles I would get spiked in the face if I tried (ouch!) and with Cocoa when she is calm and sleepy she lets me give her hedgie kisses :).

I give Geoffrey a kiss on his head or back just about everyday. His reaction depends on which mood he is in. From time to time he feels amorous enough to give me "a French kiss" on my lips (my theory is he smells something yummy on my lips and wants to find out what it is). He has given me a kiss on my nose or cheek too, but it was more like an accident than an active display of affection. Most of the time, however, he pushes me back with his wet nose as if to say, "Oh, mom! I'm not a baby anymore. Please stop kissing me!" :teehee:

I used to kiss Irwin all the time. I think he tolerated it. :teehee: Ronnie, on the other hand, would probably take the opportunity to remove a chunk of my lip! :eek: :laugh:

I give Sonic kisses on his forehead every night when I wake him up for snuggles and dinner. He is too busy trying to maneuver in my hands to care. Deep down though, I know he loves my kisses. :)

I kiss my boys everyday. On the nose, the forehead, on the back their quills, their feeties their tummies... Rosa hugs my nose when I kiss his tummy. When I come close to his tummy Aero will open up and squirm... Needler likes kisses on his face and feeties but no where else..

Laika just stands there patiently waiting for her kiss. Then she licks her lips, because she knows mealies are soon to follow. And who has WHO trained in this relationship? haha.
