uhmm sonics eye isnt nearly as red and swollen..its more just protruding with the eyeball actually looking bluish. im going to bring him into town tomorow to talk to one of my instructors who is a vet and see what she recommends i do! hopefully she will know something!

I would think he would need to get in to a vet asap for a look. The longer you wait, the greater the odds he could lose the eye. I would think he would need something for pain/swelling and maybe some drops to help with irritation and pain.

If his eyeball is looking bluish it is because it has either developed a cataract, or is dieing because he isn't blinking.

Hi. So I had a hedgehog
(Milton) whenn I was like 12. He scrathed his eye on a log we got him. And his eye did the same thing. My mother thought I was being a hypocondriact when I kept telling her his eye looked wierd and after like 3 days she finally realized there was something wrong. We took him in and he had to have eye removed becaused it was infected..... about 6 months later he died. The vet thought it was because the infecrion had spread into his body and was never fully taken care of. So you shoukd really take him to se a vet. If we had done I when we first noticed it he may have kept his eye and his life.. :(
