in different voices and pitches - Chantilly Lace, Runaround Hedgie, You are my sunshine, Happy Days theme song, and mammy's little baby (hey, it mesmerizes PK into not doing the 'put me down' dance!)

I sing With You by Chris Brown to all my babies. Sometimes I make up a little song.
You are my sunshine is a popular request too.

Hemi used to love Gretchen Wilson's "I don't feel like loving you today". If I sung that to her, she'd calm right down and go to sleep.

Kismet loves any kind of song that I sing to her, Vette and Cuda not so much. If I hum softly to Vette, she calms down. Cuda prefers baby talk.

I sing "Baby Mine", that lullaby from Dumbo, to Sadie. It makes her not be too spiky and sometimes it makes her extra playful or cuddly:hearts:

oh, and my mum used to sing the beginning of "Sunshine on my Shoulders" to Mercutio, except she'd replace the word sunshine, so it went "Hedgehog on my shoulder makes me happy"

You are my sunshine... but I replace "sunshine" with "hedgie" or "hedgehog"

I think the Mavericks or Diamond Rio redid this one. :teehee: I've got the CD around here somewhere...
