This food okay?

I might be getting a hedgehog and i wanted to know if this is an okay mix, this food http://www.exoticnutrition.com/INSECTEATERDIET.htm has great ingredients, and i was thinking of mixing it with royal canin or a good cat food. Also because the insect-eater food has whole insects and fruit/veg on it, should i still serve insects and fruit/veg with the food?

i would say yes, this is fine in a mix. i wouldn't just feed that.

but i don't know for sure. it looks decent... just as always, make sure you offer a variety of foods.

Wow. I was going to order some, but shipping to Canada is NUTS! It would cost me about 20$ for one can! I'll have to see if any exotic pet stores carry it when I'm back in Toronto for awhile.

All the ingredients sound good except for blood meal, even more so since it is listed as the second ingredient, Which means after chicken, blood meal is the second largest ingredient in this food.

Blood meal is a by-product of animal processing.
Its also used as a fertilizer.:|

So i should forget about this and mix a few cat foods and give some fruit/veg and insects?
