Salt and Pepper?

Well, I just signed up for Photo Bucket! I created an album of Halo.

Could someone tell me exactly what coloring she is? The breeder just told me Salt&Pepper. I have heard other names on CNQ though..

He looks Algerian Chocolate to me.

A lot of breeders claim their babies or adults are Salt & Pepper but in fact most of them are not true salt & pepper hedgehogs at all. Either way, he's a cutie! :)

Salt & Pepper is often used as a general term for any hedgehog in the darker range of colors by many breeders; some breeders also call them standard colored. Officially, a true Salt & Pepper is the darkest shade of black, being a black hedgehog without any brown, tan, or orange markings.

I'm in agreement with the previous post- your Halo looks like he'd fall into the Algerian Chocolate Category.
