Update

Well, it's been a while since I've been on and a lot has happened in the past few months. Pum's was diagnosed with WHS and has a tumor in her bottom. The vet said it was not worth operating on her as chances are the WHS will kill her before it does. :(

Her only good paw is her left front paw. The rest just drag around.

She isn't showing any signs physical pain and for the most part, seems happy to be alive. We have taken on the job of feeding her twice a day with syringes.

How sad! Im so sorry to hear this! Have you been able to do research on it? There are a bunch of useful tool on make her life a bit easier.

Yeah. She LOVES apple sauce baby food. Any thing with apples. Is this weird for a carnivore? I guess she's an omnivore by choice...

She still seems fine though. Any thoughts on what any of you would do in this situation?

Hedgehogs are not carnivores. Some say they are omnivores others say insectivores. A lot of hedgies like apples. Totally normal..

I know. They eat mainly insects in the wild, I was going by the three standard classifications of Carnivore, Omnivore and Herbivore (insects = meat = carnivore)
