Well I haven't been around much since I've been back from Australia because I've been quite busy with college. Unfortunately, I'm only back because I have sad news.
My dad called last night to say that my last rattie boy, Bailey, passed away Monday evening. I'm so heartbroken. He was such a lovely boy, as was his brother, Merrick. I find comfort in knowing that they are together again, after 4 months of being apart.
Bailey,
I love you, and I meant what I said before I left for school: You can go when you are ready, be with your brother, I'll understand. It doesn't really make it hurt less that you are gone, but I know that you two are snuggling together in a big hammock in the sky. Thank you for being such a wonderful boy and especially for getting me through the heartbreak of Merrick's unexpected death. Tell your brother how much I love him and how I've missed him. I will see you both again... and don't worry.... I'm bringing yogies.
