After taking in several pet owner surrender chins off and on for a while. I have decided to focus more on rehoming rescues than breeding.

I have opened a chinchilla rescue! I have taken the appropriate steps to make this a legal/legit operation.

I DO have a EIN number, business license, I DO have a business account for the rescues and we ARE waiting to be approved for a 501 (C) (3) non profit organization, our fee has been submitted, although it can take 2-12 months to get approved. Hopefully it won't be long.

We are in the process of building a chinchilla building that will be completed soon! I will have LOTS more room and can break out all of those cages in storage!

Please check it out, it is NOT complete, I do have more chins to add but I stay SO busy taking care of a BUNCH of chins and doing playtimes, etc. I will be adding more info as I can.

That's great!! It's awesome to see people willing to open their homes to chins in need. Who knows, I might adopt from you one day :D

Site looks good. there are a couple typo errors but those can be fixed, I'm sure.

On the adoption policies it should be discretion not descretion
and on the permananet residents car efor need to be dorrected to care for.

It is wonderful that you are focusing on rescue! My question is, have the rescues been seen by a vet, given the fees I would think yes but I did not read that anywhere. Good luck!

that is an awsome website. The fees seem a bit high for a rescue. but if they have seen a vet I agree that would account for it

Maybe say you must feed an approved chinchilla feed, unless you only approve tradition. I feed oxbow, and I wouldn't buy tradition just for one animal I adopted. It is a recommended feed, and an advantage is it can be bought at a pet store if needed.
