Not sure how many metal heads we have here, but the new Metallica came out recently. For those of you scared away by St. Anger, it's NOTHING like it, which is a good thing. :) I really like it. Easily their best since the "Black" album.

Agreed, it's a really great album. St. Anger was complete garbage, so I'm glad this album went in a different direction than that album.

I love it!! Bought it the day it came out and was really worried we were gonna have another St. Anger on our hands...thankfully it is nothing like that!! I am very pleased!! Metallica is my favorite band EVER!!!

I bought tickets to see them in Jan. anyone else going??

I've been trying to buy this CD, they're out of all over the place....and we'd heard that it was really good. If it's as good as the black album, I'll love it. I love Metallica, I've seen them twice in concert, it was awesome! They're coming again in October, I'd love to go but don't know that we will.

I agree... I think i might have had to give up on them if it would have been like st. anger...
If you can't find it in the store, get it on itunes :)

I'm going to see them in Milwaukee in Jan. at the Bradley Center. Are they in Chicago too in Jan. or are you making the drive to Milwaukee?

No they will be in Chicago two nights in a row in Jan...I bought tickets for both nights!!!
