My baby Lucy is not doing good and will be gone by tomarrow if she is lucky. We share 8 wonderful years together and I love her very much. May she run free and travel far in her after life. I love you and I'll keep good care of your brother Scooter.

Wow, 8 years. That is a wonderful long life for a hedgehog. I hope she passes quickly and in peace.

Good speed, Lucy - may you run with joy across the bridge.

For Lucy's human - may you find comfort in your memories of time shared with your little one.

Thank you. I checked on her this morning and she is still breathing a little. As far as I know she is comfortable. She raises her head at me when I come in the room because she can smell me. Poor girl. Breaks my heart.

oh goodness, that is so heartbreaking. I hope she passes quickly and painlessly. Eight years is such a wonderfully long life for a hedgie - you both are so lucky to have each other.

Just got home from work and Lucy has passed. We had a nice cermony for her and burried her in a nice spot. Thank you for your concern and be happy that she didn't suffer.

I am so sorry about your loss of Lucy. As you said, she is in a better place now and free of suffering or unhappiness, watching over you and her brother, Scooter, from the Rainbow Bridge. It sounds like you and Lucy had such a beautiful relationship. I only wish all hedgies including mine will enjoy a long and happy life as Lucy did. A big hedgie hug to you and Scooter.:hug2:

I'm sorry to hear about Lucy. At least when she passed, she was at home, surrounded by familiar sights and sounds. She knew how much you love her - after all, if all of us who have never met you know it, then she knew it too. Eight years is such a wonderful long life for a hedgie - she must have been truly happy with you.
