I have been getting mixed information about freezing pellets and manna. What do you all think? Since I had a problem with bugs in my last bag of food, I want to make sure I do everything right this time.

I keep about 1 months worth of food out and any excess I put in a ziploc bag in the freezer.

I but 25 pound sacks at a time. I have a tupperware container that I holds about 5 pounds at a time and I do that. With the excess in the bag i roll it up reall tight and store it in a cool dry place.

I get about a months worth of pellets at a time and I just keep it in one big rubbermaid container and I've never had a problem. If you've had a bug problem though, you may want to freeze it to keep out/kill the bugs...they are likely to be in other pet food or dryed goods in your house (those little things get EVERYWHERE).

Well I voted refridgerate because I used to put a amount in an airtight container, then the rest from a 25lb back into portions in these vaccuum seal bags that you suck all of the air out of with this vaccuum saver thing to eliminate condensation in the fridge. Kept it very fresh. Now I have an airtight container that holds all 25lbs.

I freeze all chin food for two reazon: first, it helps to store more (here in my area I am never sure that i will be able to find the food i give to my chins next time). Second - freezing guarantees no bugs growth in food

I buy 25 lbs at a time and keep all of it in an air tight container, I think it is rubber made. I have never had any problems with bugs other than when they were in my chicken's scratch feed and that I just put outside in a metal trash can to keep the bugs out of my house.
