Just joined the forum...and i'm from jersey...anyone else?

I glad to finally be a member of the hedgehog forum.

I have a yr old chocolate hedgehog named Charlie. I got him when he was 12 weeks old.. He was a real pain since he never left his big ol tube.. I had to get rid of it eventually, so when I did he finally started to explore aound and get used to me.. Now he loves bathes, tolerates getting his nails trimmed and annionts with anything with a new scent.

He's alot different from my first hedge...RedEye who was given to me by a friend that had to go to college. I had him for 2 yrs... My friend said he was 3 when he handed him over so i guess he lead a healthy long life till his departure.

Well i hope to contribute to the forum and i will soon have some pictures to share

It says that I from Rhode Island, that is where I go to college, but my family lives in NJ. My hedgehog and I come to NJ for X-Mas and thanksgiving.

I got my hegdehog in Rhode Island from a breeder. Sorry I didn't get him in NJ. Where did you get yours? People have been telling me that they have seen hedgies in pet stores around here, I haven't seen any, have you? Just curious.

I am in Queens, but my hedgie came from Washington state. If you hear of anyone who is getting rid of their hedgie let me know! I am looking to adopt.

I got my hedgehog from a local pet store. I told the person I was looking for one, he contacted a breeder and a month later he got a few in and i had my chance to get my new Hedgehog, Charlie.

Hi! My boyfriend and I had wanted a pet, so, after about 2 months of talking and researching, we have decided on a hedgehog. Now we're currently in the process of looking for a breeder in NJ to begin a life with a little one of our own. teehee :D

I'm from NJ and I just got my first hedgehog 3 weeks ago ;) She's a cute little Algerian Girl that I got in a local Pet shop (cherry hill mall). What part of new jersey are you from. I live in South Jersey by Haddonfield.
