What's your favorite Holiday Special?

Just wondering :santa: As it is getting closer to the Holidays, I've been more in the mood to watch my Favorites - A Christmas Story (You'll shoot your eye out!!) and a Claymation Christmas with the California Raisins, but I can't find it on TV anymore :(

So what is everyone else looking forward ot seeing on TV? :snow:

I like the real "Christmas Carol" movies - not the carton o rmupet ones. There are tons of them out there. I HATE a Christmas story :Pukey:

I like the grinch, charlie brown, and a christmas story, but i also like the spongebob holiday specials. :p :santa:

I HATE HATE HATE A Christmas Story! My mom and cousins are obsessed with it! So every Christmas I get stuck watching the TBS Marathon with my cousin running around the house calling me Scut Farkas all the time! May I repeat I HATE THAT MOVIE!!!!

But since this poll is what is your favorite Christmas special, I'll have to say the Charlie Brown special. I love Linus, he's my hero, because he has his security blanket and I still have mine too!

Other - my favorite Christmas movie is Christmas vacation with Chevy Chase :laugh:

Mine was always "How The Grinch Stole Christmas". For some reason, that line about the "roast beast" always struck me very funny as a kid. Somehow though, once the Jim Carey movie came out, it kind of killed it for me, and it just hasn't been the same since. I think they should have just left it as it was, and not turned it into a movie.

Also, all the Rankin Bass specials from the 1970's were the greatest! I LOVED all of them!

Out of all of them though, my all time favorite would definitely have to be "A Year Without A Santa Claus"! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE (Have I mentioned that I LOVE) the "Heat Miser" and especially LOVE "Snow Miser"! Those guys rock! Oh god, and the mini-versions of them on the pogo sticks are just the best! ..."I'm Mr. Heat Miser,... I'm Mr. Sun"... Makes me want to break out into song just as I write it, lol! Ahhh, nostalgia!

I also love the "Island Of Misfit Toys", which I think was in one of the "Rudolph's". That pink spotted elephant was too cute! (I actually have a mini stuffed version, key chain, and bobble head of him.) In fact, here's a picture of my littlest girl, taken at 5 days old with him. :-)

I love all the claymation movies. like the one where they tell the story of how cris cringle became santa. :) And the one about jack frost.. :D
