I have used it for Bitty for about a year and a half. It is most definately not her favorite, but it provides a good balance in combination with other foods. Bitty gets a blend of Brisky's, Spike's Delight, Insectivore Fare and sometimes Pretty Pets. She'll eat them all, but the Brisky's is last to go. I call it her brussel sprouts. ;)

I just ordered a sample of Brisky's. I'm so glad they have free samples. If Nicky won't eat then I don't have to spend the $17.99 plus shipping for something she hates :)

I ordered a sample about a year ago and mine turned their noses up too. Brisky's looks so much like select diet, but it has a complete different smell to it.

Digi was pretty finiky when i got him and would only eat 8N1..I tried several other brands and he turned his nose up at tit--I got my free sample from Briskys and when I got up the next morning and cleaned his dish--he already had!! There was not even a crumb--He loves it!
I guess Hedgies ARE like people! Have thier own tastes for things!
Have fun--

I got a sample of Brisky's about 6 months ago, I mixed it with Cozmo's other food. She ate it before anything else in her bowl. The only thing I have had her eat more consistantly is banana chips.
I am not sure if I have heard of some of those other brands. Where did you find them? Do the pet stores in your area carry them. I live in a small area where from what I can tell there are only a handful of Hedgie owners. There isn't a large variety of foods here. So if you know of other good quality foods for Hedgies I would love to know about them.
Thanks.

Welcome to the forums Jen. Most of the food products I buy are from Pawprint (http://www.pawprintonline.com/) Several of the well known hedgehog breeders also have started to carry food for sell to people. I have a listing of them on my web site (http://www.mihog.org/products.phtml)
